Burlington is a city in the Regional Municipality of Halton at the northwestern end of Lake Ontario. Along with Milton to the north, Burlington forms the west end of the Greater Toronto Area and is also part of the Hamilton metropolitan census area. Brant Street Pier is a signature destination and attraction located in Spencer Smith Park at the Waterfront at Downtown Burlington. It extends 137 meters over Lake Ontario that provides views of the lake and Burlington's shoreline.

The Art Gallery of Burlington, founded in 1978, is the seventh largest public art gallery in Ontario. The Gallery collects and maintains Canada's largest collection of contemporary Canadian ceramics. It is located on the City of Burlington waterfront in close proximity to Spencer Smith Park.

The Halton Pumpkin Trail runs in the months of September and October and this event connects and promotes fall products and activities in the region. Explore pumpkin themed events, on-farm markets, restaurants, specialty retail shops, accommodations and local attractions for an unforgettable experience!

Visitors will find north Burlington very picturesque with rolling rural countryside dotted with farmland, nurseries, golf courses and conservation areas.  At some of the local farms, you can purchase or pick your own products, and in some cases participate in tours.  Visit Stonehaven Farm Market where you can pick your own pumpkins, visit the giant corn maze and kid zone and take home baked goods and local product.  At Springridge Farms you can take a picturesque wagon ride, enjoy the farm fun yard and boo barn and pick up homemade pies and preserves.

Canada's Largest Ribfest is proudly organized by the Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore. This is our largest and most successful community event and has been around since we planned Ontario's first Ribfest in 1996. Since that day, all proceeds collected have gone to charity.
